Electrical Engineer II

We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and oversee electrical systems and projects, ensuring they meet performance standards and comply with safety and regulatory requirements. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients in the commercial and private wireless telecommunications sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems for communication towers, equipment shelters, and related infrastructure.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics and drawings using CAD software.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems at project sites.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Perform power load calculations and recommend appropriate electrical solutions for new and existing projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to meet project objectives and resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation related to electrical design and testing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in electrical engineering and telecommunications.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the telecommunications or infrastructure sector.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.

Additional Requirements:

  • 25% travel/fieldwork.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance eligibility requirements.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
