Fiber Laborer

We’re seeking a motivated Fiber Laborer to join our team. This role involves working on fiber installation projects, with a focus on safety, precision, and quality. If you are committed to safety and excellence, we invite you to apply for this essential role on our Fiber Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety.
- Dig trenches using hand tools or heavy equipment to prepare for the installation or repair of utility lines.
- Use hand tools to dig near existing underground utilities with precision and care.
- Help secure the work site, equipment, and materials daily.
- Assist with the installation of pipes, conduits, cables, and fiber lines.
- Refill and compact trenches after utility installation to restore ground surfaces.
- Set up traffic control devices and signage to ensure worker and public safety in and around work zones.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in underground utilities (preferred).
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Must be able to travel to multiple job sites, including overnight stays, as needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance eligibility requirements.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
