Fiber Laborer

We’re seeking a motivated Fiber Laborer to join our team. This role involves working on fiber installation projects, with a focus on safety, precision, and quality. If you are committed to safety and excellence, we invite you to apply for this essential role on our Fiber Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety.
  • Dig trenches using hand tools or heavy equipment to prepare for the installation or repair of utility lines.
  • Use hand tools to dig near existing underground utilities with precision and care.
  • Help secure the work site, equipment, and materials daily.
  • Assist with the installation of pipes, conduits, cables, and fiber lines.
  • Refill and compact trenches after utility installation to restore ground surfaces.
  • Set up traffic control devices and signage to ensure worker and public safety in and around work zones.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in underground utilities (preferred).
  • Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to travel to multiple job sites, including overnight stays, as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance eligibility requirements.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
