Civil Engineering Project Manager II

We’re seeking a motivated Civil Engineer Project Manager II to join our team. This role involves managing projects from start to finish, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and overseeing all phases of civil engineering design and development. You’ll work on a variety of land and site development projects, supporting the growth of our Civil Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project proposals, develop scopes of work, and allocate resources to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Lead project planning, balancing day-to-day demands with long-term goals.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to clarify design requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare status reports, modify schedules, and make necessary design adjustments.
- Travel to job sites for project oversight and support design-related functions.
- Act as a liaison with government agencies, obtaining necessary approvals.
- Provide technical guidance to the team, including peer reviews and AutoCAD deliverables.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- A P.E. license is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in land and site development, with strong design production skills.
- At least two years of experience representing projects before approval authorities (e.g., planning boards, zoning boards, city councils).
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, with the ability to design and train others.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in client management and project forecasting.
- Self-motivated and collaborative, eager to contribute to departmental growth and future management opportunities.
Additional Requirements:
- 25% travel/fieldwork
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance eligibility requirements.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.

- Salary range of $80,000 – $ 105,000, based on experience.
