Construction Tower Hand

We’re seeking a motivated Construction Tower Hand to join our team. In this role, you’ll work on tower construction, deconstruction, line and antenna installations/decommissions, maintenance repairs, lighting installations, and tower/foundation modifications, under the direct supervision of the crew leader and project manager. This hands-on position requires working at heights, performing physically demanding tasks, and ensuring compliance with strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in assembling, installing, and maintaining communication towers, antennas, and related equipment.
  • Perform tower inspections and routine maintenance to ensure structural integrity and equipment functionality.
  • Line and antenna experience to include microwave, omnis, panels, dipoles, and DragonWave/Ceragon (preferred).
  • Follow ETS and OSHA safety regulations, including using proper fall protection and PPE.
  • Collaborate with crew members to ensure timely completion of construction and maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site, providing support to senior technicians as needed.
  • Participate in job site setup, tool organization, and post-project cleanup.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work safely at heights of up to 500 feet or more.
  • Strong understanding of basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to travel to multiple job sites, including overnight stays, as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance eligibility requirements.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
