Fiber Operations Foreman

We are currently seeking an experienced Fiber Operations Foreman to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of ETS’s newest division. If you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in fiber, are dedicated, hardworking, and committed to safety and excellence, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely mobilize equipment, materials, and crew to the job site.
• Set up equipment onsite, including drills, water tanks, and plows.
• Operate underground construction equipment such as horizontal directional drills, plows, mini excavators, utility locating equipment, and trenchers.
• Walk the bore/plow path with the crew, verifying all utility crossings are spotted.
• Manage utility locates and ensure safe and accurate drilling and plowing operations.
• Install proper pipe, conduit, and pull fiber as required.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance, check fluid levels, and complete visual inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Immediately report any equipment or property damage to the Supervisor.
• Lead a crew of 2 or more members and oversee all aspects of project setup through completion.
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in underground utility construction.
• At least 3 years of directional drill/plow experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain underground construction equipment and locate utilities safely.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to excellence.
• Willingness to travel and mobilize to job sites with the crew. 
  
  

Additional Requirements:

• Must be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Travel Monday through Friday, including overnight stays, with some weekend work as required.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and meet insurance eligibility requirements.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
